I have given some thought about the entire film vs. digital cameras the came to a single conclusion. I am not going into the entire argument on how one is better then other or on one brand vs other.

I sold most of my Nikon DSLR gear to fund a digital Leica. For now I feel like the M8.2 prices are on the way down and want to wait. I understand that a camera body looses value over time. I wanted to keep 2 Nikon lenses as they are not worth much on resale value, but I like the way photos looked on my D300. I have had a chance to experiment with various 35mm film and my Leica M6 for the past few months. I have been developing black and white film self and the color C41 film at Walgreens. Home developing is quite simple and using Diafine with easy to follow instructions from figitalrevolution.com fantastic post! Having shot Tri-X 400 and T-Max 400 at various speeds and remaining quite satisfied with results. I have just shot a roll of Rollei Pan 25 which is categorized as a very sharp film and just as I finished shooting this roll a great article popped up by Max Marinucci located here on Steve Huffs blog site. His Flickr stream contains many wonderful images using film and digital Leica captured photos. He has also been answering question that I have. Photo below is Tri-X shot @ ISO 1250 and developed in Diafine.
