Just received my Nexus One from Google and could not be more impressed. I purchased it directly from Google with free overnight shipping and unfortunately charged me tax. My phone is unlocked so I am not forced into any new contracts. My first impressions are just amazing. I love the look and weight of the phone. Google just bought Picnik the online photo editing site. This is an interesting move by Google and I am sure that Picnik employees are jumping for joy. Picasa is a stand alone photo editing and cataloging application from Google which I use in for organization of family photos. I wonder if Google will stop supporting Picasa or integrate with Picnik? What will happen to Flickr — Would Google buy Flickr? All of this makes an interesting ‘wait and see’ situation. 
I like Flickr and Picasa and I must admit that I did not use Picnik for editing my photos. I use Lightroom, Gimp, Photoshop and Raw Therapee. ...Read More...
