Google just bought Picnik the online photo editing site. This is an interesting move by Google and I am sure that Picnik employees are jumping for joy. Picasa is a stand alone photo editing and cataloging application from Google which I use in for organization of family photos. I wonder if Google will stop supporting Picasa or integrate with Picnik? What will happen to Flickr — Would Google buy Flickr? All of this makes an interesting ‘wait and see’ situation.
