Posed

Although they are posing I took a candid photo just a few seconds before. They caught me and asked me to take another photo so they can keep it and I gave them my card. They have yet to contact me for the photo! Maybe its just not that good. If you know them – let them know. Obviously, the candid did not come out as that would be what I would have displayed here.

Lisa and Steven

Not really an outtake, but I like the way it came out. I used Sony NEX-5 with Leica Summicron 50mm lens to shoot this photo. She is due in January of 2012 and is naming her daughter Sasha (same as my daughter).

Downtown Outtake

An outtake from a portrait shoot with Nickey Collier in Los Angeles Griffith Park Observatory. The Collier family was very fun to photograph and wanted something special to mark an important milestone in their life. Los Angeles downtown is makes for a great background and we got lucky with the weather and sunset colors.

That Way! Collier Family

From a family portrait session in Griffith Park Observatory. I had so much fun working wit them. There is so much love in this family! Not only that, but they were so funny and I hardly had to pose them. The portraits turned out great – there were so many to choose from and I had a tough time deciding on the keepers.

I have realized that when I re-size images for the web especially for this site I do not do any additional sharpening causing the images to look compressed and un-sharp.
